Education’s goal is to develop love of learning that stays with students throughout a lifetime. Education is a lifetime experience, not limited to the childhood or youth years. We encourage students to research specific knowledge, apply intuitive knowledge and process all the elements, searching for a workable solution. Finding alternative ways to do common tasks is the objective. The secret is vision, research and processing, not simply recall of pre- stored and memorized knowledge.
While the school is committed to building such an environment, it believes that the learning is not complete without the parental commitment to the same ideals. We work hand–in-glove with the parent community to ensure that students inculcate correct value systems in them.
We believe that a true teacher is one who can connect to the students across various age- groups and reach out to understand them and their innate potentials. Teaching can thus have an impact on the mind and lives of the children. The School has on its rolls a team of dedicated teachers who are specially trained in the latest teaching methods and educational psychology and can serve as behavioural role models. The teachers are appointed through exhaustive selection procedure and thereafter trained by the experienced faculty here so that the children are exposed to the best professional teaching tools.
Education has continued to evolve, diversify and extend its reach since the dawn of human history when a new direction has to be given to an age old process. That moment has finally arrived….
Those who dream at night,
Forget their dreams in the morning light,
But those who dare to dream during the day,
Act, achieve and pave their way forward,
For they dream with eyes wide open……..
Our students shall dare to dream with eyes wide open. We empower children to discover their true potential and succeed as individuals. Learning here is an interactive process in which children are allowed to explore and learn with a passion. The curriculum being developed and implemented currently is a product of discussions amongst educators of the School based on extensive research and experience. It attempts to provide an environment which allots space to express opinions, analyse and constantly push towards fulfillment of one’s full potential. Children are naturally curious and this curiosity is utilized maximum to their benefit. Learning moments are seized, to fuel the child’s interest. This should enable them to maximize the opportunities which come their way enabling them to become confident individuals of the 21st century.
What can be considered a quality education? Quality education according to us is that which addresses the unique abilities of each student. It thus has a positive emotional impact on the child’s mind. Education here evaluates natural talent and attempts to understand how the student learns best. This is why home schooled students’ out-perform classroom students in all walks of life in the long run. With this method, students develop a love to learn and learning becomes a lifelong process.
Achievers in life use inspiration and motivation to overcome barriers. Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and many other super achievers never finished grade school. They succeeded later in life because they knew how to research, collect information for a selected project, process knowledge, ask relevant and pertinent questions and strive hard to find answers. Knowledge by itself has no value; it is like a dictionary filled with words. Words by themselves alone, have little value; it is the process of stringing them together in a sentence that gives them value. It is undoubtedly how well they are strung together, that determines their true worth. Our endeavour here at School is that knowledge in our students should be beautifully intertwined with their potential and identities as individuals. Each child is unique in his/her own way. We salute and nurture that uniqueness.
Education is not just literacy, textbooks are a means not an end, and Education is not only about clearing the medical/engineering/management entrance examinations or getting a high paying job. It is about being able to lead a happy and meaningful life.

In many ways, contemporary education has trapped us all in a set of unquestionable assumptions, which has led to frustration and unhappiness. In the worldview that is now dominant, there are only narrow definitions for terms like ‘success,’ 'development,' 'progress,' 'education, 'science' and 'modern'. Space for diversity is not really thought-oriented, but limited to craft fairs, cultural shows and food festivals.
As a group of thinking individuals and educationists, we feel it is important to challenge these assumptions and definitions. Notions about who is 'civilised', who is 'backward' or what is 'scientific' need to be viewed afresh. It is only then that we can have a broader vision, a true perspective, of our society and its knowledge systems. Thus education should promote understanding the self and its relationship with the body, family, society, nature, and all of existence. It is about eliciting this understanding and living our lives accordingly in harmony.
The Indian education system is a legacy of the colonial rule, and its overall framework has remained the same even sixty years after independence. This system impels the students to unthinkingly and unquestioningly accept the dominant worldview. It makes the youth dependent on the "other" for information, ideas, knowledge, understanding and decisions. Such a "system" does not teach or encourage 'how' to think, but tells the student 'what' to think.
Such a 'utilitarian' mode of education sees its role as only making a person literate and equipping him or her with exam/job-oriented skills. In contrast, the 'classical' view sees the role of education as the development of an individual beyond that required by his civic or vocational role. We subscribe to the classical view and believe that education should not only help an individual acquire knowledge about self, society and environment but also help him or her to lead a happy life.
We educationists have a critical role to play in challenging dominant mindsets. There are many leaders, thinkers and activists spread across the length and breadth of the country who are trying to bring about fundamental changes in the education system. Our endeavour here has really been about negotiating spaces, so as to aid and progress constantly in our search for relevant and meaningful education.
